Unified commerce and POS platform for retail chains
Cegid Retail is the omnichannel retail platform of Lyon-based Cegid, combining POS, store operations, inventory, clienteling and order management for fashion, beauty and specialty retail chains. It is used by brands such as Lacoste, Superdry, Douglas, Rituals and Shiseido in dozens of countries. Cegid is owned by US private-equity investors Silver Lake and KKR but remains headquartered in Lyon.

- 26 Nov 2025 AcquisitionCegid signed a definitive agreement to acquire Shine, the Copenhagen-founded fintech (formerly Ageras) offering business accounts, e-invoicing, accounting and payroll to more than 400,000 SMBs in France, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany; the deal closed in June 2026. Cegid intends to combine payments, e-invoicing, accounting and payroll for over one million SMBs and 15,000 accountants across seven European markets.
