orderbird offers an iPad POS (PRO) and an all-in-one Android handheld (MINI) for restaurants, cafés and bars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with integrated card payments. It serves more than 15,000 customers and is fully owned by the Italian payments group Nexi since 2022. The software is KassenSichV/TSE compliant.
Our reading. Best for small German and Austrian cafés and restaurants that want a TSE-compliant POS with integrated card payments and published prices, and do not need deep integrations.
