AI camera checkout that recognises everything on a tray in seconds
Dishtracker places a camera above the checkout that identifies all dishes, drinks and packaged items on a tray in about three to seven seconds and sends the basket to the POS, replacing manual keying. It is sold as an all-in-one device, as a 'Flex' module for existing POS systems (Windows, Apple, Android) or as a self-checkout 'zeroQ' station. Customers are mainly corporate and university canteens run by Sodexo, Compass, Aramark and similar operators, with bakeries as a second use case.
Our reading. Best for canteen operators and busy bakeries in Austria and Germany that lose revenue to lunchtime queues and want camera-based self-checkout on their existing POS.
