Foodforecast connects to a bakery's or café's point-of-sale data and generates the daily order and production quantities per branch, taking weather, holidays and local events into account. The company says its models automate about 90% of ordering decisions and cut waste by around 30% on average, with over 20 million automated orders a year. Customers include SSP Germany and bakery and quick-service chains.
