German POS hardware and software for hospitality and bakeries
Vectron Systems designs POS terminals and software for restaurants, bakeries and retail, sold through a large network of specialist dealers across Europe. It is one of the largest German POS makers, with a strong position in bakery chains and table-service gastronomy, and also offers the bonVito loyalty tool and the Duratec and posmatic product lines. US payments company Shift4 acquired a majority stake in June 2024.
Our reading. Best for bakery chains and traditional table-service restaurants in DACH that want proven own-brand hardware and a local dealer for installation and service.
