TackPay gives venues and individual workers a digital tip jar that guests reach by scanning a QR code or tapping an NFC tag, paying with Apple Pay, Google Pay or cards without installing an app. Tips are pooled and split according to rules the venue defines and paid out to staff outside the business's own accounts, which simplifies bookkeeping. The Genoa-based company also collects feedback with each tip and redirects guests to review sites.
