Low-fee card terminals and online payments from the Iliad group
Stancer is the payments subsidiary of the Iliad group (Free), offering card terminals, payment links and online checkout for small merchants with a flat 0.7% + €0.07 rate on European cards. The terminal is free of charge when a monthly transaction threshold is met. Developed internally from 2018, the service launched publicly in 2022 and currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Our reading. Best for small French merchants with steady card volume who want the lowest published rates and no contract, and do not need Amex or meal-voucher acceptance.
